This book is written specially for mothers and daughters and the role mothers have in their daughters’ lives, particularly their teen-aged daughters. The mother–daughter relationship can be close and fruitful; it can also be one of high tension and emotion. It can be filled with love or it can be based on mistrust. By nature mothers and their children are drawn to each other in particular if there are daughters. Often, however teen aged daughters shut themselves up in their rooms, particularly when they don’t want to talk about their problems.
